A Truly Inspiring Session with Our Esteemed Alumnus – Mr. Atul Vir, CEO of Equator Advanced Appliances, USA
Ness Wadia College of Commerce had the honor of welcoming back its distinguished alumnus, Mr. Atul Vir (1978 batch pass out) — a visionary entrepreneur, global leader, and author of Underdog Thinking. His session on Ethical Business and Innovation-Driven Entrepreneurship left students deeply inspired and energized.
The event became even more special with the presence of another notable alumnus, Mr. Ashwini Malhotra, Vice Chairman of WeiKFiELD Foods Pvt Ltd, and a close friend of Mr. Vir since their tennis days at Ness Wadia College. The session’s powerful theme drew him to join the students and listen to Mr. Vir’s life lessons.
Mr. Vir shared his entrepreneurial journey, highlighting the struggles, turning points, and global success of Equator Appliances, now operating in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Europe, China, and India. Students felt a strong connection knowing he once sat in the same classrooms and walked the same corridors.
